These 30x30mm X -mounts are CNC machined from billet aluminum. They are much stronger than the original cast or stamped aluminum mounts that typically come with the motors. This new design also adds extra material around the countersunk holes where the motor attaches. An area known for cracking. Simply compare these with the 'much thinner' standard mounts and you will quickly see the difference in strength and quality.
Don't take any chances with your high end motor and valuable planes. With these new style X mounts you can fly with confidence.
Two step installation:
- Attach new motor to aluminum mount with the motors original screws. (Accepts 4mm flat head screws)
- Attach entire assembly to the planes firewall
