E-Flite Edge 540QQ Aluminum Motor Mount

This Edge 540QQ aluminum motor mount is CNC machined from billet aluminum.  It is designed to adapt a number of aftermarket motors to the Edge 540QQ for a great increase in 3D performance.   The design of this mount will also allow you to use it with your stock motor to significantly strengthen the plastic firewall.  Plus it is very light at only 2.0g.

This mount will retain the stock thrust angle.  And with the included 2mm washers, you can easily fine tune the thrust angle to meet your flying style.

Simple installation with no modifications necessary.  Bolt on and you are ready to fly.

Installation:

For motors such as the Heads Up RC 300 series, Turnigy 2730 series, or E-Flight Park 300/340 motors.
These motors will use the mount that comes with the motor in addition to the new aluminum mount.

1. Attach new motor mount to the planes firewall with the stock firewall mounting screws
2. Attach motor to motor mount with supplied M2 screws

For motors such as the Hacker A10 series

1. Attach motor to motor mount with supplied M2 screws
2. Attach new motor mount and motor assembly  to the planes firewall with the stock firewall mounting screws

Notes:

• The stock motor uses a 2mm shaft.  With the Hacker A10 motor, the stock propeller collet can be used
• With motors having  a larger motor shaft such as the Heads Up RC and E-Flite motors,  you will need to use the appropriate propeller collet (usually supplied with motor)
