Hobby King FPV 168 Adjustable Motor Mount Outrunner

This two piece mount is CNC machined from billet aluminum.  It is designed to adapt a large range of brushless outrunner motors to the Hobby FPV 168. It will allow for the motor to be mounted up to 1" higher than the stock position allowing for up to a 2" large diameter propeller.

With this feature you can easily run a lower KV motor with a larger propeller for more thrust and better efficiency. This would be a perfect combination for FPV pilots looking for longer flight times and a more quiet platform.

Swapping motors can easily be done by removing a few screws. This is ideal for those looking to achieve the best performance possible.

Three step installation:

1. Attach motor mount base to the plane with supplied flat head screws, washers, and locking nuts.
2. Attach new motor to motor plate with supplied flat head screws.
3. Attach motor plate to motor base with suppled pan head screws.

Included: 1 - AP 16x19 Motor Base and EBS Motor Plate, 4 motor screws, 4 mount screws, washer, locking nuts, and 4 motor to base screws.

Total Weight: 14g (not including mounting hardware)

Notes:

A 35mm outrunner will only fit in the top position. This would be the best choice for this model.  A 28mm outrunner will work in the two lower positions if desired. If a change in thrust angle is needed, simply add a small washer between the motor base and motor plate at the appropriate locations.

Center of Gravity should always be checked and adjusted per the user manual after installation of a new motor.
