Our Immersion RC Vortex Aluminum Motor Mount Sets are CNC machined from billet aluminum making them very strong and light weight. These motor mount sets are designed to fit the Immersion RC Vortex Race Quad. They are a bolt on replacement and will allow for the stock and race motors to be installed. Other motors with a 19mm bolt spacing can also be used.
The motor mounts were designed to be fully adjustable on the stock Vortex 12mm diameter arms. This will allow for proper alignment of each motor. Top and bottom halves are secured with 2.5mm screws for a solid no slip installation.
The aluminum motor mounts help reduce vibrations and work great as a heat sink for cooler running motors. Installation is quick and simple with no modifications necessary.
Two step installation:

Install stock or race motor onto top half of aluminum motor mount with original screws.

Place top and bottom half onto vortex arm and secure with four M2.5 x 8mm supplied screws.

Notes:
When installing new mounts onto arms verify that motor and props are aligned correctly before tightening.
Only apply enough force to the screws so the motor and mount will not rotate on arm. These mounts will grip well without a lot of force.
Motor mount screws should be checked and tightened as necessary. A drop of blue (removable) loctite can be applied to the 16 screws before installing.
