Skywalker 2013 Adjustable Motor Mount

This two piece mount is CNC machined from billet aluminum.  It is designed to adapt a large range of 35mm and 42mm diameter outrunner motors to the Skywalker 2013.  It will allow for four different motor mounting heights to accommodate propeller sizes up to 15" in diameter.

With this setup you can easily run a lower KV motor with a larger propeller for more thrust and better efficiency. This would be a perfect combination for FPV pilots looking for longer flight times and a more quiet platform.

Swapping motors from a 35mm outrunner with a 12" prop to a 42mm outrunner with a 15" prop can easily be done by removing a few screws.  There are a large number of motor / propeller combinations possible with this setup.  This is ideal for those looking to achieve the best performance possible for their FPV platform.

Position 1: stock height up to a 12" prop.
Position 2: (+) 0.47" for up to a 13" prop.
Position 3: (+) 0.95" for up to a 14" prop.
Position 4: (+) 1.42" for up to a 15" prop.

Installation Instructions:

1. Install Motor Base to original wood mount using the 4 supplied wood screws.  Glue can also be added behind the mount for a more permanent installation
   (Motor Base can also be attached directly to the foam with a good 5min epoxy if desired)
2. Attach new motor to Motor Plate with suppled flat head screws.
3. Attach Motor Plate to Motor Base at desired height with suppled pan head screws.

Included: 1 - AP 19x30 Motor Base and SSS Motor Plate, 4 motor screws, 4 motor plate screws,  4 base plate screws.

Notes:

The stock thrust angles are retained in all 4 positions. If a change in thrust angle is desired, simply add a small washer between the motor base and motor plate at the appropriate locations.

Center of Gravity should always be checked and adjusted per the user manual after installation of a new motor.
